Worship | Walk | Work

Everyone who authentically follows Christ goes through a continual process—sanctification. Which simply means we’re becoming more and more like Jesus. Around Anchor Palos you’ll hear that described as worshiping, walking, and working for Christ. When we’re intentional about honoring God in these ways, we can’t help but become “mature in Christ” (Colossians 1:28)—growing deeper in our relationship with Him and our relationships with others.

Disciple-making is worked out together in our ministry to one another. It’s not about one or a small number of pastors bearing the full responsibility to care for our church (Ephesians 4:11-12). Rather it’s about all who follow Christ using our God-given spiritual gifts to minister to each other, in the context of our Christ-centered church.

How do we do this at Anchor Palos? It happens most effectively when we gather together to grow. We want everyone who calls Anchor Palos their home to take part in a small group. We are planning to relaunch our small group ministry this fall! Stay tuned for more details coming soon.
